Everyone loves secrets to help them in business in fact many go out of their way to help you discover the secrets to success in a particular industry. Some will promise you success in any industry or anything you ever do for instance. Hey that sounds good, guaranteed right? Well, not exactly you have to read the fine print, which is often at the bottom of their 1-4 page sales letters, which are full of psycho babble BS.
In fact many online marketers attempt the same thing. They wine and dine your mind and get you mezmorized on their website. They change fonts every paragraph and put bold sentences and italics within the paragraph. The suck you into to each subsequent paragraph as if you are a child, assuming that you will continue to read through there carefully constructed and custom tailored trap.
There is actually a secret to their methods and as madding is it is, they do it because it works. Recently Dick said to me; ?I made $500.00 my first day by selling; How To Sell Anything Tapes? by using a long sales letter marketing technique on my website. It was 18 pages on a word file when I copied it onto my site and then modified the html scripts. It works people are actually buying my tapes. They are not even that good really.
So if you want to be a Dick on the Internet, you can do the same thing. Make a giant sales letter, slap it onto your website, put up a few referrals and sell, sell, sell crap to whoever you can entice to come to your website. Salesy crap ought to do the trick right? Now for my little business secret for your website; here it is are you ready? ?Don?t be a Dick!? Think on this in 2006.
