Do You Know The Product You Are Selling?
Just recently I added an affliliate link to my site for a product that offered a home based business I had it on there for about a week and decided to see what it was all about as I do with many of the products I offer on my site. So I clicked the product link and was taken to the sales page...which was very appealing. This site was loaded with Nevers. Never send any postal mail, Never talk to customers, Never need to create a website or convince customers to buy a product and so on.
The Number Game Begins.
The more I read on the more I thought...this one will make me some money...This is the ideal home based business because not everybody can sell, not everybody can build a website or talk to and convert a phone call to a paying customer or convince a customer that he/she needs a certain product.
Taking the Plunge.
That's It. I'm on my way. Sooooo I clicked on the order button and sent my $99. As I said earlier, I try most of the products that I offer on my site so didn't regret purchasing this product. Sure I could have used my $99 toward more advertising for my site but how would that have any benefit to me or my customers.
Time to Make Some Money.
Get Ready, Set...GO! I was then taken to a Thank You for your order page. I'm thinking...You are SO WELCOME. Scrolled down the page for this money making miracle. Reading on, I found out that I really DID have to sell. I Did have to convince someone to buy. By this time I was starting to feel some disappointment. I'm really thinking...I paid $99 for something that is totally different than what I was expecting.
I Got TRICKED.
My memory suddenly got jogged...My Mother always said..If it seems to good to be true then it probably is. Well, you know...She was RIGHT! I read on further and the more I read the more disappointed I was getting. I thought... I'm offering this product on my site just to disappoint my customers and lose them forever. I suddenly went from making Thousands per week to being totally disgusted.
Disappointed...But THANKFUL
How can this be? Thankful for being disappointed. Most definitely. My customers will not be put in the situation that I was. This Link has been REMOVED from my site! I can't totally knock this program...It did have some useful information that I could have used to promote the product...But if I have to promote this site, is that not...SELLING? I thought I didn't have to do that. But in all reality...That's Exactly what was involved.
Customers FIRST!
That Link was removed immediately! I'm not going to sell a product on my site that is deceiving. I have some great products and services that are designed and used by many top internet marketers. Products that are designed to make people money...not throw it away.
Do your Research...
You have the world at your fingertips. There are many articles, forums and other means to research the product you are wanting to purchase. Take some time and you will more likely make better decisions about your purchases. It's so easy to get caught up in the moment and go ahead and click that buy button. Believe me, I want my Buy Button worn out. I also want to see people prosper online.
