More than likely, they will only cover medical bills from a select few health care professionals that are in their network. Pre-existing conditions are more than likely not covered in the insurance policy. This form of policy requires approvals before you receive any service, including visits to some specialists. If you have this type of health care plan, the only way for you to get medical treatment that the insurance will pay for is to go to a doctor or hospital that is affiliated with your insurance network. In most cases, your insurance company will not pay for services provided by doctors that are not part of their network.
